Courses for individuals and organisations tailored to your needs.
The MHFA England courses have a set format and syllabus although individual Instructor Members all bring different things to their delivery. I have passion for increasing understanding of mental health; my years of voluntary work supporting individuals with a diagnosis of mental ill health, combined with my training and work in psychology, counselling and life coaching all enhance my delivery of the courses and enable me to support delegates during the course too.

WHY TRAIN WITH ME?
As an MHFA England Instructor Member I deliver a full range of both Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid courses, including the Refresher course.
I hold qualifications in Counselling and Psychology and in addition to facilitating training, I am a qualified Life Coach, working to help people re-discover their values and find a more fulfilling life.
On a voluntary basis I have supported, over many years, and continue to support, a number of people who are experiencing mental ill health.
I am an experienced MHFA Instructor and have written and delivered many workshops around mental health and wellbeing.
I am passionate about improving support for people who have mental health issues and I feel that the MHFA course is a great way to make improvements in this area, by teaching people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis.
I always enjoy meeting course attendees and hearing about the support they give and the work they do and I endeavour to make the training as interesting and fruitful as possible for each person.

WORKSHOPS
I offer various workshops outside the independent MHFA England.
